In alignment with Dubai’s Economic Agenda ‘D33’, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. in 2023 established six specialized business groups dedicated to the real estate sector. These groups represent pivotal segments such as real estate development, valuation, leasing, facility management, interior design, and engineering consultancy. Our mission is to foster a thriving environment for dialogue and collaboration between the private and public sectors, enhancing opportunities and addressing challenges within the real estate industry.
Under the guidance of Dubai Chamber and in cooperation with the Dubai Land Department, these groups are crafted to advance real estate knowledge, uphold internationally recognized business standards, and facilitate constructive interactions. This initiative not only supports Dubai’s economic vitality, contributing over 9% to the GDP, but also enhances the sector’s resilience through substantial end-user demand and investor confidence.
As we look forward to a future where Dubai’s population is projected to reach 5.8 million by 2040, these business groups are set to play a crucial role in shaping a robust real estate market, ensuring ongoing growth and diversification.
In September 2023, we proudly inaugurated our founding board, from the 30 distinguished founding members, with Zuhair Bin Redha serving as Chair and Waqar Hasan as Vice Chair. This esteemed group includes seasoned real estate professionals such as Dr. Mohanad Alwadiya, Kiran Uttamchandani, Bilal Moti, Imran Al Shaibani, and Ismail Al Hammadi. Together, they bring a wealth of expertise and a private sector perspective to policy discussions. This initiative is instrumental in bridging critical gaps and enhancing collaboration, thereby supporting the fulfillment of Dubai’s Economic Agenda – D33 and ensuring a sustainable and prosperous future for the real estate sector in Dubai.
